7th Championships Youth

The European Confederation of Petanque, the French federation of Petanque & of Jeu Provencal, the Departmental committee of the Tarn & The Garonne and the Town of Montauban presents the 7th Championship d' to you; Europe of the Young people with Petanque which will take place of the 26 at August 29, 2010 with Montauban (82). The competition will take place on splendid the " Foucault" cours; and in the event of need for bad weather, the covered bowling pitch will be an excellent fold.

Montauban is a French commune, is the chief town and the prefecture of the department of Tarn-et-Garonne in Midi-Pyrenees. Its 57 150 inhabitants (60 346 in the metropolitan area) are called Montauban (es). The urban area of Montauban exceeds 80 000 inhabitants (estimate 2008). The city is known as the birthplace of one of the greatest painters of the nineteenth century, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (the city is nicknamed the "City of Ingres), for the historic event that took place there, "The 400 Blows" and for his club rugby, the MTG XV, currently Top 14 and of course the club with its huge bowling alley located in the covered "Market Station".
